Wired Returns!
After a sold-out debut in May, Wired returns to Project Arts Centre on Thursday 9 July, inviting audiences back to one of Dublin's most exciting new nightlife experiences.
More than a club night, Wired is an invitation to experience dance floors differently. Created by neurodivergent artists, for neurodivergent communities and anyone looking for a more thoughtful, inclusive way to enjoy nightlife. Wired asks a simple question: What if clubbing worked for more people?
More Than Accessibility
Whether you're someone who loves to dance until the lights come up or someone who needs regular moments of quiet to recharge, Wired creates space for both. Created by a collective of neurodivergent artists through a capacity-building programme developed by Dublin Dance Festival and Project Arts Centre, with the support of the ESB Energy for Generations Fund, Wired reimagines what a club night can be. Across the entire Project Arts Centre building, audiences are free to move between spaces with different atmospheres, energy levels and sensory experiences, from high-energy dance floors to calm retreat areas with gentle lighting, comfortable furnishings and ambient soundscapes.
Need five minutes with Enya instead of another drop? That's not just okay, it's part of the design. With four DJs, two dancefloors and three dedicated chill-out spaces, Wired invites you to experience nightlife on your own terms.
Developed through workshops and mentorships with neurodivergent DJs, designers and dance facilitators, the project explores how nightlife can better respond to different sensory needs, creating artist-led spaces where people can dance, connect and belong. By building accessibility and sensory awareness into the experience from the very beginning, rather than treating them as afterthoughts, Wired offers a more inclusive vision of club culture: One that benefits not only neurodivergent audiences, but anyone looking for a more welcoming and flexible night out.
