PAF Connects at Dublin Dance Festival
We are delighted to announce that we are partnering with Performing Arts Forum on their next PAF Connects which will be taking place on 14 May to see Specky Clark by trailblazing choreographer, Oona Doherty as part of our 21st Edition!
For €25, you’ll receive a ticket to the Irish premiere of Specky Clark at the Abbey Theatre, delicious refreshments, and a drink at the pre-show networking session. This is a fantastic opportunity to experience exciting new dance, meet fellow practitioners, share ideas, and strengthen your ties within the arts community.
An unflinching blend of fiction and biography where myth and reality overlap, Specky Clark traces the journey of Oona’s great-great-grandfather’s arrival in Belfast. Nine international dancers breathe life into this powerful narrative that unfolds through a series of striking theatrical images with music from award-winning contemporary Irish folk band Lankum.
At the core of the Performing Arts Forum is their commitment to connection — building relationships, strengthening bonds, and fostering a true sense of community within the arts. Sharing the experience of live performance is a vital part of this connection.
