Danse l'Europe app is live!
Danse l'Europe, a participatory dance project, has been launched to celebrate the French Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
You can now download the Danse l'Europe app! The app includes a warm up and a 9-minute choreography piece created by Angelin Preljocaj, with music by Jeanne Added. Innovative, interactive, inclusive and open to everyone, this artistic experience can be discovered across Europe throughout the first half of 2022. Participants can use the app in “solo” mode, to dance alone, or “group” mode, to connect with other users, whether they are in the same room or across the European Union.
Be sure to watch the short film about the project by director Tommy Pascal, which portrays the dance routine performed by 27 European dancers and dance-lovers of all ages. It features Ireland-based artists Isabella Oberländer and Fearghus Ó Conchúir, as well as Irish translations assisted by Roy Galvan.
