Congratulations to the 5 recipients of the 2019 DDF Artist Pass

We were thrilled with the response to the Call Out for DDF Artist Pass applicants and we are delighted to introduce you to the recipients of this exciting initiative.

As part of our 15th Edition celebration, we have introduced the DDF Artist Pass which is aimed at giving early-stage dance artists the opportunity to attend a wide selection of Irish and international performances, presentations of works-in-development and workshops with Festival artists.

We are please to announce that this year's Artist Passes have been awarded to:

Rachel Ní Bhraonáin
Rachel is a dance and aerial artist based in Waterford. She works as a performer, choreographer and movement director for theatre.

Aliina Lindroos
Aliina is Dublin-based dance artist, originally from Finland. She is particularly interested in cross-disciplinary collaborations that explore themes of ritual, body politics, and relationship between humans and nature.

Marion Cronin
Marion Cronin is a contemporary dance artist based in Dublin. Over the past five years she has been working for and in collaboration with many choreographers, visual artists, sound artists and filmmakers. 

Mihaela Griveva
Choreographer and dancer, Mihaela Griveva is a freelance artist based in Ireland. Mihaela is also founder and editor of www.dancingopportunities.com - an evolving project promoting dance and creating a resource and network for dance artists.

Caoimhe Wandel-Branningan
Caoimhe completed her dance training in Paris and Germany before returning to Ireland. She is currently part of the Emergence 2019 cohort, where she is creating her own work under the mentorship of John Scott, Jessie Keenan and Ailish Claffey.
