An evening of celebrations at the 15th Edition Launch

Tuesday, 12 March was an evening of celebrations as the dance community gathered to mark the launch of the 2019 Dublin Dance Festival Programme.
The Dublin Bar Academy was buzzing on Tuesday evening as Fearghus Ó Conchúir (Choreographer | Artistic Director of National Dance Company Wales | Deputy Chair of The Arts Council/An Chomhairle Ealaíon) alongside DDF Chair, Helen Meany and Artistic Director, Benjamin Perchet officially launched the 15th Edition of the Festival.

This year's Festival promises an exciting line-up of performances from renowned Irish and international artists, as well as a wide selection of workshops, master classes, films and discussion, and a chance to see new works-in-development.

Opening with RIOT starring the Queen of Ireland Panti, and closing with master of contemporary dance Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker, this year’s programme offers the chance to witness ground-breaking work by legendary dance artists; a space in which to contemplate the politics, environment and technology of our spinning world, and for every body to cut loose, party and DANCE.
