The award-winning short film Les Indes Galantes (screened as part of the Dance on Film programme at DDF2019) blends the worlds of classical music and Krump in an unexpected and powerfully expressive short film.

Born out of the Los Angeles riots in the 1990s, Krump is a highly energetic dance form that expresses raw emotion. In this striking film, Clément Cogitore reframes this dance amidst Jean-Philippe Rameau's enchanting music.
