Coming back to Dublin with such an amazing job to do! The #MissyElliottProject was unreal. It was a intense and lovely week with 12 young women of color, working to produce their music video with their own lyrics, tune, costumes, ideas. We made it! Honored to be part of the artistic team. Coming from the reality I’ve been witnessing with young women in Brazil a lot of this seems just SO distant. The last workshop in Morro de São Paulo, Bahia, there was girls with only 13 y/o who were already mom’s. It’s chocking. It’s a bless to live the phases of live without struggling being a full woman at the young age. I keep questioning myself what can I do to bring the conversation that crosses the understanding of feminism and how it’s practices can empower young women on developing countries.
