As we emerge from a period of lockdown and restriction, these workshops offer participants the opportunity to move and connect with others and to remember what it means to be part of a community.
You are invited to attend all three workshops as a series, but workshops can also be booked individually.

About Tobi Omoteso
Tobi Omoteso is an internationally acclaimed Nigerian/Irish B-boy (Breakin’ / Breakdancer) and Hip-Hop Freestyle dancer, training at Broadway Dance Centre, West Bronx, New York and Breakbeat Dance Studios, Waterford. Tobi has been dancing for over 20 years and supports the foundations of this dynamic and influential dance form with his B-boy crew – RECESSION SQUAD NINJAS.
Tobi is the curator and director of the hugely popular TOP 8 STREET DANCE BATTLE that brings together the best of Irish and International street dance to existing and new audiences – now heading into its 8th year, the event has been part of Dublin Dance Festival since 2016. As a choreographer, Tobi’s work has been presented across Ireland, including at Dublin Dance Festival, WHAT NEXT dance festival (Limerick) and at the Irish Arts Center (New York). As a performer, he has worked with many of Ireland’s leading choreographers in multiple media and as a dance facilitator he has brought his knowledge of Hip-Hop and Breakin’ into a wide variety of youth and academic contexts.
