WHERE DANCE MEETS CIRCUS: Join ISACS' focus session Jan 27th

Calling all dance and circus lovers!

Irish Street Arts, Circus & Spectacle Network present 'Where Dance Meets Circus', ​a focus session exploring the boundaries between dance and circus. The session will pay particular attention to the way in which one art form crosses into another.

​Hosted in the Irish Academy of Music and Dance in the University of Limerick, this interactive focus session aims to stimulate debate, discussion and conversation around the fundamental differences and similarities of dance and circus and how we can learn from and support each other in our unique practice.

The focus session will include talks from an expert panel of speakers, one of whom is Dublin Dance Festival's Director, Benjamin Perchet. Other speakers include:

• Chantal Mc Cormick – Artistic Director of Fidget Feet Aerial Dance & Professional Development Manager of the Irish Aerial Creation Centre
• Alex Allison & Davi Hora – Co-Artistic Directors of Cie Maleta
• Hazel Hodgins – Programme Manager of Dance Ireland
• Jazmin Chiodi - Co-Artistic Director of Iseli-Chiodi Dance Company

'Where Dance Meets Circus' will be held on 27th January from 2-5pm.
