DDF blog is go! A new range of perspectives on dance for 2017

We're two weeks away from the opening of this year's Dublin Dance Festival, so it's time to reignite the DDF blog. The festival blog is a regular feature each year, offering real-time reflections on the programme as it unfolds. Last year, we tried a new approach to the blog, bringing in guest writers from different areas, including food, photography, design, music and comedy. It worked so well and provided such interesting insights on dance that we thought we'd try it again this year.

In 2016, guest writers were drawn from the creative fields; this year, we've widened the net to also bring in other voices, especially individuals who are socially engaged in some way - whether through environmental work, community building or promoting the value of science.

We'll be introducing these guest writers from tomorrow - so stay tuned!
