Audi Dublin International Film Festival's full programme has launched! Running 16-26th February

Good news film-enthusiasts!

Audi Dublin International Film Festival has just announced its full programme with a jam-packed schedule of screenings and more! The Audi Dublin International Film Festival is Ireland's premier event taking place in February each year. It has built a formidable reputation for delivering to audiences the very best in international film and film talent.

Running from 16th-26th February, our top two dance-related picks are Mr Gaga and Amanda Coogan: Long Now.

Explore the dynamic of dance and film in Mr Gaga, a fascinating documentary by Tomer Heyman about renowned choreographer and artistic director of Batsheva Dance Company, Ohad Naharin. Eight years in the making, the documentary captures the elusive beauty of contemporary dance and immerses the audience in the creative process behind Batsheva’s unique performances. Screening on 17th February at 6.20pm in Cineworld.

"Electric… Riveting… Choreographic brilliance… excellent. The most exciting documentary for fans of edgier modern dance since Pina"
-Variety
"One of the most intoxicating dance movies of the last 20 years"
-perlentaucher.de

Also screening is Paddy Cahill’s Amanda Coogan: Long Now, a visual exploration of Coogan’s beautiful live performance 'I’ll Sing You a Song From Around the Town' at the Royal Hibernian Gallery. Screening on 18th Frebruary at 12pm in the Irish Film Institute.

We certainly cannot wait to sample this year's film selection! Check out the full schedule here.
