These three young choreographers offer a fresh take on dance from around Europe and closer to home.
Black is a humorous piece about making things appear. Using only words and movements, Edvardsen conjures an entire domestic scene – pot plant, pet dog and all – on a bare stage.
Prompted Breathless weaves real- life memories of four dancers into an intimate and delicate web of movement. An extract of O’Donoghue’s recent work, it questions what makes us human.
In NOTHING for body, Baek’s body becomes the stage. Her hands, feet, fingers and toes are minutely expressive dancers.
NOTHING for body is presented as part of Aerowaves
