DRAFF: an exhibition (Curated by Rachel Donnelly, Liv O’Donoghue, José Miguel Jimenez)

It can take months, and sometimes years, to make a dance performance. Just exactly what are those artists doing in all those hours, minutes and seconds of research and development? Quite a bit, it turns out.

DRAFF: an exhibition lifts the lid on the dance scene with a vibrant display of the material that’s hidden away in the notebooks, and brains, of selected Festival artists. A multimedia exhibition incorporating sound, visuals and objects, it’s a rare insight into the creative process of dance makers.

Exhibition contributors:
Meg Stuart/Damaged Goods; Liz Roche Company; Robbie Synge; Maria Nilsson Waller & Co.; Meytal Blanaru; Philip Connaughton; Oona Doherty.
