As part of DDF 2008, Dublin Dance Festival were delighted to partner with Arts & Disability Ireland to present Introducing girl jonah, a workshop led by Caroline Bowditch & Fiona Wright from girl jonah.

girl jonah are two choreographers, (one Australian, one British; one disabled, one non-disabled). With more than fifteen years of independent solo and collaborative performance between them, these artists are committed to an intelligent experimentation that is rooted in the bodily experience.

Introducing girl jonah allowed the partisipants a unique insight into the choreographic tools applied by these practitioners in creating their work, as Caroline & Fiona shared their working process and taught the dancers some of the company’s rep.

girl jonah also presented this two and premiered she was a knife thrower’s assistant at Project Cube as part of DDF 2008.
